It goes without saying that Sofia received tons of toys so far, even though she’s not quite able to play with them yet. But mommy overdid it all by ‘winning’ Sofia the biggest teddy bear to date. It Is probably twice the size of the baby:) here you can see it propped up in Sofia’s swing.

Lunch at grandma Gale’s
Every Sunday we go eat lunch with our parents. We alternate between the two sets. This particular Sunday, we were at grandma Gale’s and baby Sofia decided it was time to sit at the table with the adults, as opposed to taking her usual lunch time nap. So daddy picked her up and had her join everyone else.

Going to church
Sofia, mommy and daddy all went to church on Sunday night. Sofia likes church, especially the sermon time when she falls asleep. She also likes worship time cause she gets to watch mommy play the piano and sing. If you don’t hold her upright so she can see, she’ll definitely let everyone around her know 🙂

Sofia’s Dedication
It seems like daddy will never get around to posting about Sofia’s dedication service (which was 2 weeks ago!!!), so mommy will have to pick up the slack 🙂
On December 14th, 2008, mommy and daddy took baby Sofia to church to be dedicated. Sofia wore a beautiful cream colored dress, with a matching cardigan sweater and matching shoes. Of course, the shoes were a tad too big, but they did stay on for the service 🙂
We got to church with Sofia sleeping in her car seat. The two grandma’s, auntie Roxy and grandpa Gale moved to be closer to us. Then Sofia woke up and she spent the whole time in her 2 grandma’s arms.
The worship team, which mommy and daddy are a part of, sang 2 beautiful songs, one of which they learned especially for this occasion. The choir also sang a beautiful dedication song.
Grandpa Ungur had a special message and then him, together with fratele Mudura came down to pray over baby Sofia.
Sofia was very cool and collected for this special occasion, she even slept through the prayer, in her grandpa’s arms.
Here are some pictures to document this event!
Sofia’s first Christmas
Christmas is finally here!
We are so excited and thankful to be able to spend it with Sofia. This morning she woke up at 6 am and would not go back to sleep, almost like she knew it’s Christmas morning and we are supposed to open presents 🙂
Here is my baby in her Christmas outfit, waiting to be fed. I will try and also post pictures with her in her church Christmas outfit soon.
