We love Saturday mornings. We all get to sleep in late (daddy included) without any worries.
This particular Saturday, baby Sofia cooperated and slept with mommy, thus letting mommy sleep in for a change 🙂

Sofia is 8 weeks old
Today Sofia turned 8 weeks old.
To celebrate, mommy dressed her in a new cool outfit that daddy thinks looks Japanese, and spent the whole day downstairs hanging out by the Christmas tree.
Mommy baked scones while Sofia was napping, and once she woke up she spent some time smilling at mommy (a new found skill).
Then daddy came home and Sofia got to hang out with him for a while.
We ended the day by gulping down a yummy bottle of milk and mommy putting the baby to sleep on her own (we’re trying to teach Sofia to fall asleep on her own now that she’s 8 weeks old)!

While admiring the Christmas tree mommy decorated, Sofia fell asleep on daddy’s chest, which in turn made daddy fall asleep ….
Mommy misses Sofia
Sofia is having a sleepover at grandma Gale’s tonight. Grandma loves to have Sofia over.
It’s only 10 pm and mommy already misses Sofia. But hopefully mommy will get a good night’s rest tonight.
Growing
Today Sofia’s wearing a new outfit because her old ones are getting small. Couple more days and we’re switching our whole wardrobe.

Sofia and her cool aunt Roxana are hanging out on a lazy Sunday afternoon. They kinda like each other 😉
Daddy’s favorite activity
While mommy was taking a shower, she left daddy in charge of entertaining Sofia.

Sleeping time?
Mommy is trying to convince Sofia to go to sleep so that mommy can sleep a little bit too… Daddy is not sure who is going to win this ‘argument’.
